A simple goal of sprucing up the basement family room brought a few questions. Wood-plank tile was a top-pick, but the owners were looking for some tips and tricks to avoid pitfalls, as well as how to finish off the base molding. We recommended they switch the tile direction plan to disguise some imperfections in the walls, and ease their DIY install, while providing technical coaching for installation. When it came time for the carpentry, we provided carpentry services for installation of the base molding they picked and replaced some mismatched trim elements in the upper bath.
